چکیده
Background/Aim. Neurofeedback (NFB) is a therapeutic method based on monitoring the electroencephalogram (EEG) and providing feedback brain activity of sub-jects. The aim pilot study was to investigate effect lower-beta or sensorimotor rhythm (SMR) (12?15 Hz) NFB training amplitudes latencies late auditory event-related potentials (aERP) components N100, N200, P300 in Go-No go task discrimination. Methods. Each 9 healthy participants aged 25?40 years (4 male) had 20 daily sessions SMR neurofeedback training. aERP recorded 5 times: before NFB, after 5, 10, sessions, one m onth last session. Results. results showed statistically significant decrease at Fz, Cz, Pz regions. No N200 N300 found. Conclusion. obtained suggest that exerts its processes cognition.

Event-related changes detection in sensorimotor rhythm
Human walking gait is disrupted by the spinal cord injury (SCI) or amputation.1 Gait rehabilitation involves improvement of the motor control functions by the activation of neuro-plasticity. It can be achieved by deciphering and translation of brain signals that correspond to the execution, or action imagery, of the affected limb, into output commands. BCI could be used to build new communicati...
متن کاملSensorimotor Rhythm Neurofeedback Enhances Golf Putting Performance.
Sensorimotor rhythm (SMR) activity has been related to automaticity during skilled action execution. However, few studies have bridged the causal link between SMR activity and sports performance. This study investigated the effect of SMR neurofeedback training (SMR NFT) on golf putting performance. We hypothesized that preelite golfers would exhibit enhanced putting performance after SMR NFT. S...
متن کاملHz Event Related Auditory Potential
Main focus of this paper is an EEG experiment on observing frequency of event related auditory potential in response to series of clicks. Based on the past research, it was expected to observe 40 Hz potential, which was not the case. The experiment was conducted on one subject, and the average observed frequency of 61 Hz could be explained by individual differences. However, an additional step ...
متن کاملControl beliefs can predict the ability to up-regulate sensorimotor rhythm during neurofeedback training
Technological progress in computer science and neuroimaging has resulted in many approaches that aim to detect brain states and translate them to an external output. Studies from the field of brain-computer interfaces (BCI) and neurofeedback (NF) have validated the coupling between brain signals and computer devices; however a cognitive model of the processes involved remains elusive. Psycholog...
متن کاملSensorimotor rhythm neurofeedback as adjunct therapy for Parkinson's disease
Neurofeedback may enhance compensatory brain mechanisms. EEG-based sensorimotor rhythm neurofeedback training was suggested to be beneficial in Parkinson's disease. In a placebo-controlled study in parkinsonian nonhuman primates we here show that sensorimotor rhythm neurofeedback training reduces MPTP-induced parkinsonian symptoms and both ON and OFF scores during classical L-DOPA treatment. Ou...
